Finders Keepers Quest (SPOILERS?)

Hey, I'm in chapter 2 and got the family ring in the Finders Keepers quest. I thought the dude that gave me the quest said he's be around the sewer entrance during the morning, but I can't find him! The useless journal entry for it tells me nothing. If I track the quest on the map, it simply points me to the sewer entrance...

The Witcher Wikia says he's a con artist but offers no explanation. Is he? I mean I DID get the ring and a whole lot of other goodies... some con...

Bug? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advanced!

When he gave you the quest, he told you to meet him there in the early morning.

I believe he is there around dawn.

Thanks! I finally got it. It was strange, when meditating, I set the clock to wake at dawn, but then had to set it back another 2 hours... and the con artist was there.
