MotB:rest or not to rest....SPOILER

Post by kahelag »

Hi, I have a problem now. I finially work spirit eating. Now what about resting?? What do I do and my companion to get back thier spells without resting. After leveling up you are granded a spell. Without resting your spell stays at 0(zero). If I rest I die.

dying is easy, it's living that scares me..... today...

If you travel via the world map, you'll get the benefits of resting but with a lesser penalty. If you're a devourer and your craving is high, then you should only rest in a place where you can immediately turn around and devour a couple of spirits/souls.

If you're desperate, there's also a way to turn off the spirit meter. Look here for details.

This is only true for your feats that can be used daily. Others, such as spells don't recharge themselves whilst travelling the world map.

Thats why I favored Supress. Travelled to Ashenwood and cast a few elementals where there were lots of telthors then Supressed. Spirit energy went to full. :)

Other than turning it off, you can also add to the spirit energy by using DebugMode 1. :D

In my game spells are memorized, health is regained, and feats are recharged. Traveling is just like resting, except for the cheaper spirit energy cost.

My game is version "1.010.1116 English," which is as updated as the updater can make it.

But this makes me curious. Apparently Loki and I are seeing different things. So what are other people seeing? Does traveling on the world map (not counting the witchboat) do the same thing as resting for you, or not?

Good question. Though maybe it is because of the update. I think I am missing one or two. :p

Will post here if the update changes anything. :)

Travelling is like resting for me, but I've the same version as Carter. I want to recall it was that way even before I updated, might be wrong though.
