order of quest

I was in the process of doing the investigation of lady gray,met terresa, got my new quest and now i cant get to finish the investagation quest,lamp wont work in front of the stables,also can i go back to the arena/

No you can't re-enter the arena once you have finished the arena quest.

You should still be able to investigate the mayor. The only way to break that quest is to marry the mayor, and even then I think the lantern should still work.

You can do both quest with a resuslt of: You are unhapely maried with lady grey.

If you do the right parts on the right time, it will work out like this:"
-You start the investigation quest.
-You start the marriege quest.
-You finish the marriege quest.
-You tru to finish the invetigation quest, but will have no choise to keep the letter found in the basement, you will give it automaticly.

So now both quests are over, and I believe lady grey will always hate you now.
