High value merchants? pos spoiler

Post by Cazza Fable »

I was doing a quest called "The Thief" in Mournhold, Godsreach and as part of it a dead High Ordinator was laying on the floor. I managed to take his "Her Hand Cuirass", worth 50k. Also, I have a full set of glass armour from the Hlaalu vaults. I was wondering where I could find a merchant with enough money to buy these items from me.

I thought I could use the console to give creeper more money as I play on PC, but I don't know what to type in.

It's a bt of a hassle, but the guy in the Craftsmen's Hall, just sell him the cheapest first, and make up the price by adding stuff from his inventory, a sort of part cash, part exchange deal. Then wait 24 hours; sell the make-up items back; wait 24 hours, sell another item the same way, repeat. It'll get your mercantile skill up as well.

Cazza Fable - listen to Galraen; I do :)

I have done it two ways; one fudging the rules, the other taking time.

What I do is:
1) sell all my good stuff to Creeper from the start
2) then when I have high priced items, sell them to him and buy back items(... make up the difference) = toss them all over Ghorak Manor
3) go outside Caldera and up "my spells of choice" by using them ... whack the Alit's OR let them munch on your armor ... sleep(... spin the day/night cycle) ... again with the Alit's ... back to Creeper for another round of buy/sell

Make sense ?
*** SPOILER ***

If you want to speed things up etc ...
Give yourself the gold "difference" between your item and Creeper's cash.
You don't get the benefits as Galraen noted.
The console code is ............ player->additem"gold_100" $$,$$$
I don't believe you can go over $50,000 per command.
