need more cache

I want to play a multi-player game when I hit the connect button it say that i need at least 300mb of cache. I don't know much about cache, how will that affect my computer?

On the initial loading screen click on Configure, then select Miscellaneous, increase the cache size. This shouldn't affect your computer at all.
