Firetooth?

Post by Thrifalas »

Can anyone tell me for sure if Firetooth's attacks counts as +5 or +2? When it comes to what it can hit, that is.

Neither, it's +3 for what it can hit and THACO.

Sure you're not thinking about Fire Tooth instead of Firetooth? I mean the crossbow, not the +3 throwing dagger.

The crossbow Firetooth's projectiles are considered to be of the same enchantment as the crossbow itself. That is, when you didn't equip any projectiles, but rather use those produced by the crossbow. So, those projectiles will be considered +4. If you upgrade the crossbow with the Bowstring of Gong, the missiles will be +5.
