Problem with disks...

Post by RedneckJedi »

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I am having a problem... I have played thru BG 1,2 and ToB and now I installed them again for another play through only this time something is wrong. I installed BG2 and then Tob (both from the boxed set) and Tob plays fine but when I try to play SoA it tells me to insert disk 2 into the drive and when I do the drive starts up but nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still get the same thing.

When I start the game without the disks I am prompted to put the expansion disk in the drive but when I hit SoA option... it tells me to insert disk 2 ans we are back at the same problem.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance...

The only reason I'm aware of for asking for disk 2 is if you haven't done a full install and there's something not right about the disk. If that's the case I'd recommend trying that. If you have done a full install then I'm lost for an explanation, the only thing I can suggest is trying to clean the disk, but I suspect you've already tried that.
