How to Make a Grip of Money

Post by Tyronne the Wiz »

Tyronne is a Human Rogue Mage

He becomes a sorcerer

He has Bargain at level four (now five).

He buys 10 Fire Nova "Spell Books" (not Scrolls) from Alestier in Fargrove for 71k and resells it right back to Alestier for 94k

that's 23k profit per transaction! AND Alestier is right next to a Moon Gate - Its like an ATM.

All Spells work this way and it may only be if you are a human and a mage and have bargain at a certain level, however it instantly ended my character's money problems.

Also this activity "Funds/Capitalizes" the mass magic of the character (i.e. 25 Blast Nova Spell Books, 50 Ice Shards Spell Books etc. etc. etc.) The only problem now is resting to recover the spells takes two 24 hour periods (yawn)

Now combine this with the Skulldoon Arena and you have a way to make 200k exp with little or no risk (I agree it is boring) especially when you are trying to hit a specific skill for a class (like General Scout)

BTW so far Ice Shards kicks *** on almost all monsters, 'cept Chunelers.

If you really want to make stupid money, buy heal crystals until you can't buy any more, sell the stack and then buy it back and keep adding to it. Repeat until you have ~45,000 charges on one crystal. Sell it and then you can buy it back for $1 and sell it again for ~$16,000,000 (depending on your bargaining skill). I'm not sure of the exact point at which he only charges you $1 for the stack, or at which point it becomes $0 when you try to sell it, so I just keep it at 45,000 charges. It takes a while and only really works if your bargaining skill is good enough to turn a profit on buying and reselling, but it's a great way to earn enough money to stock up on 10,000 charges of each and every spell available to you.
