the Pcs are from a small town that is in the shadow of a small wizard academy. and not far off are some mountains. the Pcs have lived there all there lives and one of there friends is graduating at the wizard acadiemy. so they go to watch and after they here word of treaser in a cave in the near mountains. so off they go. they find the treaser and it is guarded by a halfling. they kill him and get the goods. and come home. but they find the village and the school all burned to the ground and everyone killed. as they go to check the school they find a man in full black platemail with a black full helm, with a large two handed sword killing the wizards teacher. as it turns out the guy in the platemail was friend with the halfling and desided to leave him with the gold. when he returned to the cave he saw the Pcs leaving with the gold. and found his friend dead. so he beat them to the village and killed there loved ones.
