I'm currently playing a Berserker who will dual class to Mage at level 13 (I'm currently level 11).
Other than kicking out my party members (other than Jaheira, who I'm romancing) and then memorizing as many spells as possible, what tricks can be used for some quick XP gain?
TIA
Looking for some dual classing "tricks"

Set up quests so that you complete them with your first class and then return to get the reward with the weaker class. Also, you CAN dual class in bid battle when a tough opponent is almost finished, so that your weak class can kill it and gain the experience.

SPOILER I've just discovered a very quick way of gaining experience, which I won't be using as I consider it to be cheating. Export a character into Tutu experience cap removed. I did that yesterday to satisfy my curiosity with regard to items in Tutu. My character suddenly became a level 10 fighter, level 40 mage.
It is then possible to import that character into SoA. He is still level 40!
He is just a teensy weensy bit overpowered and I don't think that I would enjoy playing the game at all.
