Noonwraith Quest [Spoiler]

Post by archaven »

The Noonwraith quest: The Heat of the Day

Is it worthwhile saving Celina the Noonwraith? After i gave her the "wreath of immortelles".. It seems that i don't get any reward or experiences. I was thinking if i were to choose a different reward from the Hermit.

What you guys did?

I got the impression that you can't really complete this quest if you saved the witch in Chapter 1. Or at least, I saved the witch and I got that same ending / non-ending.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

So you mean to say that if i don't save Abigail way in chapter 1, then i would have a different scenario? Hmm.. if that's the case i might as well don't save her and choose a different reward then.

Can confirm the Abigail bug, I gave Celina the wreath but same problem. I've nearly reached this point on my second playthrough though. Didn't help Abigail, will report my findings.
Sage plays a paladin,
because other classes would be frowned upon for laying their hands on a wounded companion

Right, this could defenitely be considered the bad ending to all this. Adam commits suicide and is reunited with Alina. Alina's sister or the wreath aren't mentioned at all. I found her in the fields at night a while later, but she attacked me without any option of giving her the wreath.

It's not a bug. Think about how this game progresses. You don't see the consequences of many of your actions until much later in the game.

With Celina, saving her does have an effect later in the game. If you save Abigail, you will be able to save Alina and Celina without Adam's help. And this will have a positive affect for you much later in the story.

If you let Abigail die, Alina can be saved, but only through Adam's action. What I have not yet figured out is if you can still save Celina in this branch of the story. I haven't even been able to find Celina after Adam helps Alina. I don't know if it is possible to help Celina in this scenario.

Ah cool. So I did run across Celina after Adam saved Alina. I was able to give Celina the wreath and "save" her. So this should have the same result as in the other (proper) scenario.
