Well, two of the founders left after the BG series, and the other two effectively sold out to market forces in dumbing down and standardizing their subsequent games. Now they've left, too, so what we have is really "the Bioware-that-was-once-Bioware." Name only, no resemblance to the original four physicians, in their twenties, who dealt with those bitter cold Canadian weekends by marathon D&D sessions. Wouldn't expect holiday cheer from the accountants in charge, now.Still annoyed at Bioware for their lack of PC love!
That might work to the advantage of all, this year. But first we're going to Aqaba in Jordan for New Years Eve to do a bit of diving and deep sea fishing. The wife also wants to see Petra, one of the few wonders she's managed to miss. So the holidays are gonna be great, especially for the little booger, and that's all that really matters.
Always loved. Earlier it was because I could spend more time on games - in the first place - and then books, friends and other entertainment. Now it's because I can spend more time with my son and wife and, of course, I'm still a gamer (well, now it's usually in the evening when I can play, 'cause my kid is sleeping )Wow! Put up the tree, wrap presents, put together toys. Wanted to make it look like Santa had really been there.
Have fond memories of trying to put together those old tin doll houses. Sitting on the floor, with band-aids on every finger, trying to finish the job with out spilling any more beer. Ah the good old days.:laugh:
Then came 8 grand children. Not as much work, but just as much joy.
They're all grown now. Our youngest grandson is 16. Our oldest is serving in Iraq, and we worry about him every day.
My wife and I have been together 46 years and now have a great-grand child on the way. IT STARTS ALL OVER
