Help getting to Valdane's cell (Merged)

Hello I am currently stuck in naga temple.......cannot get gates open to get to the cells where valdane and the key is....if anyone knows what to do please help I followed the walkthrough but somehow get confused or end up where I get stuck....thanks for any tips

If you're looking at [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/dungeonlords/walkthrough/nagatempleeast.php"]our walkthrough[/url], you have to jump over the trap door at #9 and then head west to reach Valdane's cell.

Naga Temple

I need help getting to Gate # 5. I can't get the gates open to get down to where all the trap doors are located. Please help!!

Where are you getting stuck? If you're still in the western half of the temple, then you have to fight the snake at #3 and head north.

I'm still in Naga Temple

I'm still in Naga temple. I leave north from room #3 and I end up right back in room #3. I can't figure out how to get the door open in the gauntlett room, or how to get the gates open that are by the cell block. Please help!

If by 'Gauntlett Room' you mean the Mechanical Trap Room (#11), then there are two levers as the walkthrough says, they are in alcoves in the centre of the North and East walls. Throw them (move them to the down position) and the south door will open.
