Alternate escaperoutes ?

Okay, here's the deal...

I'm in the office of the factory where you plant the explosives. The route you came in is no longer an option, since the entrances behind you all seem to have mysteriously locked themselves. The only way is move forward, but then i find a few vampires on my path that are too much for my character to handle. Their big claws rip me to pieces with only a few blows. I can handle one of em, but i suffer so much damage that the second one means a certain death, and i don't have time to heal since the timer is ticking and i assume the entire complex blows up.

So is there another way to escape, one where i don't run into those creatures all the time ?

And how far do i need to be away from the explosion so that i don't get harmed ?

Standing behind the desk exit the office through the right door and keep going away from the rolling doors that are now closed. There's a normal door in one of the corners at ground level.

Yeah, i figured that out already, but that's where you run into these vampires with their big claws. The first one i can handle, but he messes me up pretty bad. When i follow the path i have to go through another building, where another one shows up when you try to pick the lock on the closed exit. That's where i get killed all the time. I was hoping there would be another route where i don't have to fight these vampires, because i'm simply not strong enough to face them yet.

If you're quick enough you can outrun the first one and that will leave you well enough to fight the second one.

Never mind, i did some more exploring before i set the timer for the explosives, and found a bunch of shotgun shells. It's so much easier to deal with these creatures if you have a loaded shotgun instead of a baseballbat.

If you sneak into the room where you plant your explosives and stealth kill or quick kill the guard there you can plant the explosives... sneak back to over the rolling/garage door and quickly run out.

Hint: Stay in the rafters as long as you can, drop onto the catwalk and stealth over to the door. Blood boost to pick the lock in.

This is usually my approach towards the Sabbat warehouse. When I come to the locomotive I sneak kill the guy who stands there and then sneaks up the ladder right by. I crawl to the hatch, looks around for a bit to see how theland lays, trying to spot as many fiends as possible. Then I drop down a bit, sneaks into the office part, trying to sneak kill those I can and fight the rest. When I have cleaned the office, I open the door at the other end of the office, go down the stairs and cleans out that room. Don't bother to pick the lock, leave the villains on the other side to burn later. However, visit the room with the boxes containing gauge shells. Then return to the other room you just previously cleaned out. Open the door in front of the staircase, if it leads outdoors, then it's the right one. This is the way you need to go, once you have set the timer. Go this route now and clean the way for later. You will find four goons, luckily spread out so you can sneak kill most of them, all if lucky. When you comes to a door, you will hear whistling from the other side. Sneak up the stairs quickly on the other side and stealth kill the guy if you can. There's a couple of boxes with more guages up there. Then when you get down again you'll see a locked door which can't be picked. As soon as you get out there, you will be out of range from the explosion. Depending on how much time you have left, you can just stop to enjoy a good nights work go up in smoke! Anyway, now return to the office and set timer. Do a quicksave just in case. As you run down the stairs, the first claw guy crashes through the door. Kill him as fast you can, in any manner or with any weapon you feel comfortable with. As soon as he's been dusted, don't stay behind waiting for number two. Head for the exit immediately and fight him in the last room before the exit.
