Stargazer Crystal

Does anybody know what the Stargazer Crystal is for or what it does. You get after killing Ocula to complete the Stargazer class. I'm playing the Collectors Editon.

Wow-this is a really good question. I tried to look for it in the equipment database for the game and even did a google search. Nothing came up. I do remember seeing it on Kel's item list though. I hope someone can help you. I've never taken that class. Have you tried to equip it or charge it at a shrine? What does it look like?

Edit-correction, the item doesn't appear on Kel's list adding creedence that the idea that you have found an item new to the CE. Third tier classes get some really nice stuff now. I would bet that it is a cylinder and that it is actually a dagger class weapon that can be charged at a shrine. But then again it could be a trinket or otherwise invokable item. What did the giver say? Did it drop from the monster you killed instead of being a gift after completing the quest?

The Stargazer Crystal goes in the Celestial section with the other round crystals of power, and it does something but I couldn't see what!

when you use the stargazer crystal it will fill up all of your celestial crystals

Thank you nexus that is a handy crystal to have too bad they don't have something like that for the other magics. But then it would be too easy huh?:laugh:

Actually, there is something that will refill your celestial, rune, and arcane spells. But, it's not an item. It's a skill. The Magic skills Scribe and Channel do regenerate your arcane spells and celestial crystals and runestones faster, respectively. But they don't really work all that well, or so I'm told...

They seem to work fine to me, but you need to have several ranks at least before you notice much difference. Once you get to 10+ ranks, the difference is substantial.

I played a Battlemage/Enchantress/WarWitch once (3 learning bonuses to scribe, 2 for channel) and bought up those skills to 20+/15+. She was pumping out magic like crazy.

I want to thank all who replied and yes it does recharge all your Celestial as well as rune crystals instantly. Very cool!
