Hi and welcome to the forums! :)

I can't remember the door needing a key to be opened. Have you tried bashing it?

Is Slaan still alive? This might just be a place where a script was supposed to run, but it didn't trigger properly. If you have a recent save you can go back to, that's what I'd try first.

When I tried to pick the lock it said it was impossible. It then succeeded when I used thieves tools +3. Try using the highest level thieves tools you can get hold of.

I had Neeshka pick it open without tools. Have you placed skill points in open lock?

Yeah, that lock can be picked. Not sure about the DC though, as I haven't played the OC in quite some time. If you really can't open it, use the debugmode to modify Neeshka's dexterity to the max. Then she should be able to open the lock.

I've had Neeshka pick that lock without that kind of boost, but you DO have to take control of her to do it.

Or be a rogue yourself.

Or have a few points in Open lock, and blow it.

Unlike Kali (from Mask), she doesn't automatically pick locks.

It's Kaji. :p

Both of them pick locks automatically, if you let them. Try checking their character page and see how the AI is set.

Both set to pick locks: Yes.
Both Set to Disarm Traps: Yes.

Neeshka picks locks if I control her directly, or if I have a few points in Open Lock (or whatever) and blow it.

RE: Kaji Hey! It's been months since I was last in MotB. I had a Problem (I installed a patch wrong) and lost my characters.... But I was only 2 letters off....

That's what I meant when I said automatically. :)

Only reason I remembered Kaji is because of his ex-pull-ocean. :D
