Post by Loredweller »

and want to switch it for one with empty slots (just to put other augments in).
Is it possible and, if is, how?
TIA

Well, you can buy weapons without augmentations from the blacksmiths. If you're referring to legendary weapons, then sorry. Not possible.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Would they make a difference? At least a trader in the Guild doesn't offer me a new piece if i have an augmented one - even if he has one in stock, it's grayed out.
However, yes, if you sell your's augmented and then buy back, it won't have augments any more. (Just checked)

So your saying that its impossible for a hero, the best of Albion to "unaugment" something but a simple blacksmith can?

Not even a smith, a simple wandering merchant (though few of them have a capacity to buy a Master weapon),

They don't exactly unaugment, more like buy your augmented weapon and sell a similar one back to you. One can onlly speculate as to what they do with the one you sold them... :p

On the pc it is possible by the use of a trainer. Some have the option to de-augment a weapon completely. No matter what weapon.

this is how

i do that all the time.....almost all legendary weps already have augmentations on them, but some dont and u cant put new ones in as i cant remeber there name said at the top. but lets say u have a obsidian katana with both slots filled. all u need to do is find a store that sells obsidian katanas and buy a new one and sell ur old one unless u wanna keep. and put ur augmentions in the new wep and bang u got a kinda new wep :D :D :D :D

Do you possibly have that trainer link?

I could find it again, but I dont know if its legal to post a link to it here.
Will check out the rules right now.

EDIT:
Did not notice its illigal to post it. But I might as well have been stupid enough to not understand it.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/ ... Perks4.jpg The looks.
Fable Trainer for PC Games The trainer.
I did download it myself too.
AVG-Free antivirus did not detect anything.
Ad-Aware did not detect anything either.
I am not responsible for anything lol.. or whatever :P
Its option 22. Took a while to track the trainer, it was removed from the original site.

Hope it helps :)
