What is the absolute best CD you have ever heard?
robert earl keen - live number 2 at the diner
cory morrow - the man that i've been
pat green - dancehall dreamer
sugar ray's first album..the name eludes me...and NO, not their first popular album with santeria or whatever that crap was.

I would be a serial killer if i didn't have such a strong distaste for manual labor
Two of my favorite CDs are from the Barenaked Ladies. Has anyone heard of them? The CDs are called Stunt and Maroon. I like the way that they present their songs. I find most of their lyrics pretty deep, but the way they sing it just makes the song so clever and funny. Do we have any Canadians here?

That is indeed an excellent album. And my damn CD isn't scratched or dirty, but nevertheless won't play properly! Grrr! Didn't Fleetwood Mac have numerous changes in their line-up? I haven't ever heard another album by them which is anything like as good.Originally posted by Carbonyl:

Fleetwood Mac - Rumors 1978
Though FM has many albums which all suck this one is a real gem. Every song on it, if released today, would be #1. It's really quite remarkable considering historically how bad fleetwood mac is.</STRONG>
Primal Scream - Screamadelica
One of my favourites, anyway... I don't have an absolute best since it changes with my mood...

Well, i know that started of with a male front-line, and they eventually had several chicks singing their vocals. That would definitely qualify is an extreme lineup changes.
Totino's party pizzas rock! All a college kid needs to get by....
I don't listen only to CDs that are "big". I listen to everything pretty much. I actually think that the song "One Week" by Barenaked Ladies is that not that good. One of my favorites are "Sell Sell Sell", a hilarious satire to the showbiz.

Keep in mind the Barenaked Ladies have a lot of other, older, albums... Born on a Pirate Ship, Gordon, Maybe You Should Drive... Less the "One Week" kind of attitude (a song which is indeed not so very good) but those albums aren't bad...Originally posted by humanflyz:
