Stats and dual classing

I am not clear whether it makes any difference to the character whether you improve your stats with Lum's machine before or after dual classing.
Obviously it might be important to get your minimum stats prior to dual classing.
However, if you have your minimum stats, does it make any difference whether you get your +1 in dex for example when you dual class or later?

afaik you will be able to dualclass after you have reached the minimum stats with lums, and the dex will also boost you thiefing skills a bit more

so i would say: yes
the game " updates your scores
atleast after levelup
