No Magic Weaponry?

Post by Nebari »

I am starting through again and am planning on a pure fighter in CE. I have played through 4 or 5 times, always with strong magic. That is now too easy. The pure fighter should give me a different game.

I was looking at Rogue - Fighter - Valkyrie - Marauder - Deathlord but noticed that I will not have magic weaponry. Will the relic, rod of divinity, work on Nauselom without Magic Weaponry? Searching the forum did not answer this.

I have already started as a Rogue and have joined the fighter's guild before I thought of this potential problem.

Thanks

The rod probably won't shoot anything, and you might get a penalty for wielding it, but you just have to hit Nauselom once with it, and then you can switch to any other weapon, so you should be fine.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Thanks.

I was just worried about the "special effect". I knew the magic attack would not work. I have always switched to another weapon to work on him.

Just had another thought. Killing fire drakes is going to be tough without a winter weapon of some kind. Well that is why I am playing this set of classes, a challenge.
