I realize this is supposed to be a fun and humorous thread, but you do realize that you don't qualify for any single category present right? You registered in 2008, meaning anything dealing with you and 2007 didn't happen on gamebanshee and thus disqualifies.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.

Member Awards :
Most Helpful Member
Criteria :
Male or female member of GameBanshee who provide most help, info, and guidance for other members in GB forums
Participants :
Active members & GB Mods

I nominate Greg. and DW. At the start of the year I put up the thread for my project and they have been persistently helpful by answering questions sensibly with no "OMG u cud make it well kewl n make Telvanni pwn da other houses" and Greg also did some Dialogue for me.

They're always there to help in the ESIII forum and I'm sure they're there in whichever other forums they frequent.

I would have liked to see a nomiation for the most useless member of the year. The reward would have gone to a member who had the highest percentage of useless posts of his total post number of that year.

But I know it would be a bad idea. If it existed the number of useless posts would dramatically increase because of some peoples desires for an award (no offence to anyone).

By the way, what do you get if you win an award?
  :p ;) :D :o :( :)

You get to feel superior and talk down to the other members, and when they ask you what makes you so special, you can actually point to the award and make them cry when they realize they really are losers. :D

So basically it's like every other award ever given to anyone ;)

Why can't you nominate yourself? You're eligible, and there's no rule that says you can't even if it is kind of a shameful plug. :D

I can't think of a better signature to reflect myself. I love that movie and ask my friends, I breathe it's quotes into EVERY conversation.
Yes it is sort of a shameful plug, but it's not like there've been many nominations for stuff.
It would feel better if someone else nominated it, but as nobody knows me..

Except, once again, you do NOT qualify for any category in this contest. Please stop trying to nominate yourself, no offense but it's kind of annoying.

Best Mod - Fable.
Crappit! Haven't I already made my gender obvious to all of you? :D

EDIT: And that meant, yes, I'm male :p

EDIT2:
@Sib
About nominating yourself:
Kipi wrote: Mmm... perhaps you have understood this a bit wrong...
You don't nominate yourself but others. And others may nominate you, though as you have registered during this year, you have to wait till the next awards, as this ceremony is about things in 2007...
This is how we are doing it this year, unless there are awards with too few nominations, then I'm considering this again. I'll add it to the first post to remind all of you :D

Some more nominations:
Most Helpfull member:
Andrey and Mr. Pastorius
Both of them frequent in Fallout-sections, providing help and hints whenever they manage to beat me on it... and at times, even when they don't :D
So, basically they do very good job there.

Lurker of the year
Bloodstalker
Mostly comes out when summoned, unless I have missed something crucial here :D

SYM Best Couple
The lurker couple Aqua Chan & Bloodstalker.
More info, check this post
C_Elegans & Silur
The couple which produced first offspring of GB (or at least as far as I know)

The Most perverted Member
DesR85
Okay, stretching the meaning of "pervert" here, but if one likes to kill Krauz as badly as Des, even resulting getting DW angry because of blowing up things, he surely deserves to be nominated

Spammer of the Year
DesR85
Spending hundreds of posts just to blow up Krauz? Well, at least in my book, that's spamming :D
Loki[D.d.G]
Over thousand post in just six months, and most of them in SYM.

While that is true, my post count per day is lower compared to others. I know for certain that one is fable. Anyway, it is funny that Des isn't involved with these awards. Thought me might like a slice of the, uh, "spam".

I think Sibs nominated DW for spammer of the year too. ;)
