Golden Pantaloons!

Miraculous Golden Pantaloons! Damn, I can't equip them!

Who has went through all the trouble of combining the various pantaloons? If I put them in a certain chest will they remain there all game so I know where to find them in order to have them on my character at the end of the game (when I import my character into BG2)?

You do have to have them in your inventory before you beat the game though.

so if I put them in a chest they will never disappear right?
or do I have to carry them on my character through the whole game?

Just put them in a chest you know you won't forget about (i usually use the one on the first floor of the Friendly Arm Inn). Only items on the ground disappear.

keep the pants somewhere safe! then make sure you have them in your inventory BEFORE you finish game to make sure they come with you into BGII.
