Scars

Post by ivantrv »

I know there's lots of topics on this, but there's no definitive answer for my question. Does wearing a chain/plate helmet prevent scars on your face? The slightest thing seems to get you a scar in Fable, even if someone just brushes against you lolz.

Nope. Even if you are fully armored in shining plate, you still get scars all over. Only way to avoid them altogether is to use Physical Shield.

Damn that's really stupid. What if my character is evil so I can't fully master physical shield?

Physical Shield Leveling

You don't have to max out the Physical Shield spell. But then you'd have to monitor your Mana level more often. Using Mana augs helps there though. If you combine that with good tactics (e.g., blocking & rolling), you might be able to get away with Level 2 on the spell.

It really is a problem with only the bad boss enemies (such as Jack of Blades).
Heroing is one of the shortest-lived professions there is.

There isn't a scar on the face of my last Heroes. Mayhap because Ph.Shield is the first spell i have been paying attention to.
