Hi, so I bought the DVD collection of the series and had no problems installing it. However, when I try to run it I get "This program can only be run in an English operating system" and nothing more happens... Is there any way around this? I live in Sweden and have my XP set to Swedish. I tried to patch it but no luck.
So far this happens in BG and TOSC, haven't tried BG2 yet but I was planning to play a character through the whole series...
Oh, I bought the DVDs in Sweden so you'd think they'd work here...
Any help appreciated.
Need help with complete edition
Thanks and sorry for not searching properly... Tried it but didn't find what I was looking for...
I tried patching it but to no avail. Luckily I found that it was TOSC that caused the problem so I can run BG with no problem so I have plenty of time before I need TOSC to work. It's irritating though since TOSC is the only part I haven't played yet...
Thanks again
And sorry again

Changing language...
Hey..
I had the same problem when I installed the DVD version of Baldur's Gate and TotSC, I managed to make it work though.
What you do is switching the language of your computer to English (Great Britain). You can do this by doing the following:
Go to Control Panel, from there you press Date, time, language and regional options. From there you press setup for region and language. In this columm you go to advance. The top most option says language for non-unicodeprograms. There you chose either English (Great Britain) or English (USA). You will need to restart your computer for the new settings to take effect.
When this is done the game should figure your operating system has the right language and you should be able to play the game. However bear in mind that this will also change your keyboard to english, so some keyboard buttons won't be tha same as your swedish. But you'll just have to switch back to swedish when you are done playing the game.
Hope this works..
