The lady selling spells in Ribaulds, the spell vendor at the top of the stairs above the two inns in Waukeen's Promenade.

be aware that i think you can only hold ONE scroll case, i tried to carry two and it didnt work (might have been a bug though) also the case will only hold about 20 scrolls too. hope this helps

sparky_kat, I believe that it was a bug, as I sometimes end up carrying two of each container, in a patched, yet unmodded game.

one of my weaker party members was given containers to carry - had 3 or 4 cases.

The "Universal Container" bug was fixed in a patch, so if you patch the game up, it should not be an issue to carry 3-4 of any type, which I think we all should. :)

ya know, LOL, after all the years of playing the Baldurs Gate saga, i must admit....... i dont think i have ever used any patches!!!:speech:  :speech: it amazes me that i have only encounter about 2 VERY MINOR bugs that didnt affect my gameplay in any way. i wonder if anyone else has had this "good luck" of not actually HAVING to use a patch.

i might actually install patches now and start new games to see if there is any differance in the game........ hmmmmmm

You're most likely not alone...

Well, generally, the majority of people should not have issues with the major portions of the game, as it should have been tested for bugs and inconsistencies by the development team prior to release.

Some people will encounter some problems due to the incredibly large number of possible system setups and action choices that one can make, and the complexity of the program.
Because of the large population this may still seem like many, although I'm sure it's relatively small statistically.

I am playing an unmodded game (don't want any mods right now) with TOB installed. I have 4 scroll cases and would like all that are available. I don't like putting scrolls in my bag of holding if I can prevent it. I have just come out of the underdark and have done almost all major quests but Trademeet, The cult of unseeing eye, and the Twisted Rune.

Under these rules, What's the most scroll cases one can have?

There are six scroll cases available in Shadows of Amn. They are available from the following merchants:

Galoomp the Bookkeeper (Waukeen's Promenade)
Lady Yuth (Adventurer's Mart)
Jayes (outside the wall of Waukeen's Promenade)
Bernard (Copper Coronet)
Ikert (Docks District)
Wallace (Trademeet, after the genies are gone)
