Now, I may be too hopeful here, but we know that a monk with the right stats can use Keldorn's armor and I think a fighter multi or dual class can use Valygar's armor.
1.) Is it possible for a monk to use any other armor aside from Keldorn's?
2.) Is it possible to use Jan's armor without Use Any Item, rather through the right class, race or statistics?
3.) Is it possible to somehow use Edwin's amulet, or for that matter to take it off?
4.) Is there any spell or item that can deny a monk of his/her freedom of movement ability?
5.) How would you make an Avenger able to hold his own in combat? None of his forms (and the elemental forms) seem good. Am I missing something or is this class just not that good? The salamander weapon, what is it considered in terms of magical modifier? Is there anything special about it? How much does it do? What of the baby wyvren?

1. I have no idea. They shouldn't. Easiest way to make absolutely sure would probably be to go through all the itm files in near infinity - would probably take you about 5 mins or so.
2. The only way to restrict items in near infinity is a) class b) race c) alignment d) stats. Again suggest near infinity to look up the restrictions on his armour, but a CN gnome thief/illusionist with same or higher stats as Jan should most definitely be able to wear it.
3. Edwins amulet cannot be moved. If I remember correctly, you cannot even more it from your inventory (ie equip it) even if you cheat it into your backpack.
4. No spell/item can remove this ability to my knowlegde. If you don't like the effect on your monk though, you can edit the 2DA file in near infinity so he doesn't get it or possibly remove the effect in Shadow Keeper.
5. I have no advise on Avengers unfortunately, though I seem to recall someone making a thread about them - was it some sort of dual class, perhaps? Suggest you try the search option, or wait for someone who's played one.

Thanks for the answers.
I know that avengers can be dual classed, as soon as the gain 17 strength. My first character after ToB came out was an Avenger and I did play one, with a party, until the end, however, in melee, they didn't seem to be so powerful, like a shapeshifter/fighter.
