British men opt for 50-inch plasma over sex

What is the cost of a 50-inch plasma TV?

I mean, they're basically asking those men whether they would give up sex for six months for the cost of a TV. What if they rephrased the question: "Would you give up sex for six months for $5,000?" I wonder if their answers would be the same.

Speaking of changing the wording of the question, I also wonder whether a slightly different question would get a different response: "Would you give up sex with your wife for six months for a 50-inch plasma TV?" Undoubtedly, many men might feel they can "cheat" in a situation like that. :)

Me, I'd trade a 50' TV for 6 months of sex...

Going with Sparky_kat's idea, can we extend this so that we get an extra 50' on the TV for every half year without? I'd have to knock out a few walls in my house, sure, but it'd be worth it...

For me sex is boring. (no really:angel :)

I would gladly give up sex (although I won't even ever have sex) for 6 months 4 a 50" plasma TV. TV and computers are far more awsome to me than sex. :)
  :p ;) :D :o :( :)

Curse my naturally flirtatious nature!

The worst bit is I have quite a weakness for tiny blonde women too... :(

Maybe the problem lies not with the British men, but the British women?? :p

My wife read this thread over my shoulder after I pointed it out to her. Three weeks ago my mom called in complete hysterics to tell me that I was on TV! I missed the entire thing because I couldn't find any of the remotes.... It turns out neither of us had turned on the TV set in over a month! I kid you not!:laugh:

Having just returned from the UK, the majority of women were very attractive, I wouldn't think they are the blame.

I have a 50-inch plasma, and while its nice, I wouldn't give anything up for it. ;)

I wonder if the same men saying yes would consider it if they were asked to give up drinking beer for 6 months instead... :D

you really should replace beer with "any type of alcohol" to get a truer response. :p

i know many men that don't drink beer, but drown themselves in whiskey or similar instead.... and then a few other prefer just wine.

gotta make sure you cover all the bases :D

Heck, you'd trade a year for just the screen? Wonder how much the whole thing is worth to you? :mischief:

Considering I've never done "it," not to mention I'm abstinent by choice (not religion) and asexual, the TV would be pure profit.
