My favorite game of all time would probably be Heretic II. That was one of the first games I ever played online and it was a blast every second. The 3rd person view made the game about 10x better than the original fps style Heretic and Hexen used. The graphics were amazing for its time too. Singleplayer was pretty good but online was where it shined. It seemed like everyone knew each other and got along which is something very hard to find in games now a days. There were 1v1 blade matches, team blade matches or just your plain ol' dm. It had some great mods too like siege and thf. Sadly only a small hand full of people play it still.

Other than that I'd probably say (in no particular order)

Rome: Total War
Cannon Fodder 1 & 2
Full Throttle
Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2
Baldur's Gate 1 & 2
Icewind Dale
Hexen
Quake 2
Gauntlet legends (n64)
Dungeon Keeper 2
There's nothing in the way I walk that could tell you where I'm going. There's nothing in the words I speak that can betray anything I'm knowing.

Gee, favorite game. Hrm. I play Bioshock a lot lately, but I love Prey (although for some reason, after I started Bioshock non-stop, even though I got them both at the same time, Prey kind of fell out of favor for reasons I can't even identify). Loved Civ 4, but I got bored of it after playing it so much over the last year or two. Thief: Deadly Shadows I love, but Shalebridge Cradle in that game is probably my favorite place ever to play (I'm surprised I haven't had nightmares about it yet; I've had hallucinations about it, though, and it's not fun). Knights of the Old Republic 2 I love, and can (and have) play(ed) over and over again despite it's being released incomplete. But all-time? All-time... Possibly Dig Dug or Missile Command on the old Atari. That's right, I said it: Atari. Ooh, or Galaga. Love that to death. I remember when I went to Orlando for my 21st birthday and this pizza place had an arcade set up to play Galaga... Lost a lot of quarters in that machine. :D

TIE Fighter. Nothing comes close.

I meant to put that on my list. But I hate Lucasarts for making the new version joystick-only; I prefer playing with my mouse.

FM for me. Oblivion, Civ and NWN2 also make the cut.

When it comes to games, I value style, plot and gameplay. Everything else is secondary.
With that in mind, I'd say Arcanum is the game I've had most fun with, from its brilliant steampunk setting, a great plot and simply wonderful music. As for others:
Fallout
Planescape: Torment
Fallout 2
System Shock 2
Deus Ex
Sam & Max Hit the Road
Full Throttle
Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl
Fahrenheit

Also, Wasteland gets an honourable mention, which I still haven't finished, but the atmosphere it provides is simply amazing.

My favourite games are: Tomb Raider, Dawn of War, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Sonic the Hedgehog, World of Warcraft, The Longest Journey ;)
(Very random, isn't it?)

(But my favourite game is one I made up in my head. I am currently playing it inside my head. If only I could make it into a real game. It would no doubt be everyones favourite. :D )
  :p ;) :D :o :( :)
