I don't know if Lucien will be like Jack but i do know that if you have a family, Lucien will do something to one of them. He's supposed to be a cruel character and tries to build a tower called the spire. Type in the search engine 'Fable 2 - Lucien' to find out more about him.bosmer000 wrote:...is lucien like jack of blades???and were did u find that out at??
In most RPGs that I can think of, good/evil choices occur during the course of the whole game, not choosing which path to follow at the beginning. I can only think of RTSes when it comes to choosing which sides to play.bosmer000 wrote:true...but maybe at the beging it could ask witch path you choose and branch off from there?
I agree. I've seen sequels to RTSes like Red Alert 2's Yuri's Revenge where the game assumes that you took the Allied path (Soviet guy go to jail, Yuri vanished after capture). KOTOR 2 did try this method before but I didn't find the story that convincing, to be honest.Loki[D.d.G] wrote:But that would be too confusing and tough for the devs to pull of convincingly. Most games which have seperate endings such as this usually have a sequel which presumes the player made the good choice.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. What is the best? Jack or no Jack? Personally, I'd prefer a new opponent, rather than the generic dragon boss...Cleanzo wrote:Acctualy the mask is still in fable2 all you are doing is going further into time they havent announced eneything about not loading your old file from fable (TLC) so lets hope for the best

i would also like to see a new enemy but i would also like to know if the mask has anypart in the way the story unfolds. it is going to be a long wait for fable 2,way to longLoki[D.d.G] wrote:What is the best? I don't remember Lionhead ever mentioning something about Jack's mask and no article about Fable 2 made any hint about it. Where did you get that information from?Cleanzo wrote:Acctualy the mask is still in fable2 all you are doing is going further into time they havent announced eneything about not loading your old file from fable (TLC) so lets hope for the best

Haha, he got it from his ass. I think the easiest way for the game to
determine whether or not you wore the mask or destroyed it in the first one
would be to, before the game even starts, ask you a series of question,
which slowly sets up key points in the story. "In Fable, did you destroy
the mask at the end, or wear it?" 'wore it'... etc.
It would be a great idea in theory but it may be difficult to pull off
because it may drastically change the story... or they could have it that
the mask wasn't completely destroyed and retrieved by someone/thing. or
that when the mask was destroyed its energy was transfered to something else
such as another mask.
I want the towns to be recognizable and have the same feel. It'd be great
if ya join the guild at one time and your hero from TLC is a celebrated
dude. just ideas. but no matter what its going to be worth buying.
relesing on the PC, anyone?

that was a quote from ben yhatzee croshaw *high five*Thetribemaster wrote:I actually picked up fable(for the umpteenth time, so addictive) yesterday and set out to be evilest bastard that ever lived "
but now its time to put my 2 bob in.
i recon they definatly should bring old jack back maybe not as a main villain but id love to find out the origin of good old jack.
and id love to be able make like a jade empire effect and capture old jack in the mask and use him as a puppet but thats just a personal touch
it would be swweeeett if jack was the mentor of the new bad guy or since fable 2 happens 500 years after fable 1 the new bad guy is a descendant of you in fable 1 since the powers can be passed on in the bloodline like your mother and sister give you more powers in fable 1 but as they said up i would like to know the story of jack too it looks nice and correct me if im wrong i dont think he was human actually but anyways cannnntt wait for fable 2 and would like to see jack return

ok it should bring him back as the jack without the mask and not evil he'll just be some bum on like the streets you think is crazy and he helps you and in the end you find out he was some crazy guy form 500 years ago but doesnt look different because hes a cool basterd so he lived !
what i mean is like i want jack to return but not as an evil guy but as like a bum that saves your life or something then you end up killing him because you want to lol
