title pretty much explains it ... i lost jauffre on the way to cloud ruler temple and now i have no clue how to find him without taking hours to search the landscape. i still know where martin if it helps ... does anyone know how to fix this problem?
thanks
so i lost jauffre in the main quest
Do you get messages telling you that he is unconcious? As he's set as an essential character he can't get killed, but if he's continually getting knocked out by a monster that message should appear every time it happens.
If that is not happening then I suggest doing other quests and trying CRT again later.
If you're playing on a PC you can overcome the problem by using the console, see the sticky thread, his editor ID is Jauffre, his Form ID is 00023999.

Fast travel to any nearby location, if he's conscious and still in your party per se, he should auto-fast travel with you to that exact location.trad1987 wrote:no, i have never gotten that message. i was just riding up to the temple and i lost him and couldnt find him. its on 360. is there anything at all that i can do?
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Unless there's a console command I'm not sure of, I'd say so. Normally, no matter where NPC's are at the time, if they are "following" you, fast travel brings them up to speed with you automatically.trad1987 wrote:no dude. i mean he is gone, as of like 30 hrs of play ago.i fast go to the temple and he is not there. am i just screwed here?
And I'm not sure if the 360 allows console commands, but if so, you might want to google for that.

Well I did have the same problem the one and only time I tried riding all the way from Weynon Priory to CRT, both he and Martin simply vanished, although they did turn up eventually after I went off and did other things. I never made that mistake again, it was a bitter introduction to the crap AI in Oblivion.
On a PC the problem would be very easy to fix, but as you're playing on an X-Box I don't think there is any solution other than those already suggested. If you've completed other tasks and played for 30 hours and he's still not there it really does look like you're 'screwed' as you put it. My commiserations, and boy am I glad I've got a PC and not an X-Box.
