empty trunk?

In Chapter IV,

I've run across a seemingly empty trunk in the last chamber of the lakeside crypt. Most containers aren't clickable once they're emptied. Is this a bug or a teaser?

I was in there today, and I found money in the trunk, so you must have had something weird / buggy going on in your game.

Thanks. If its just some money, I won't worry about it.. I was concerned that that trunk might have been quest related.

Just like to add I've seen this a few times as well. Played through the game more than once, am sure it's nothing important.
Sage plays a paladin,
because other classes would be frowned upon for laying their hands on a wounded companion
