Baldur.ini problem...

Post by paul.spilsbury@ »

Hi everyone! I've played BG and BGII several times, but never with cheats. So I would like to see what it's like to cheat. My problem is, I've taken advice from these forum postings about using Notepad to access Baldur.ini file, but when I click on open I get the message that Notepad cannot find Baldur.ini . Any ideas anyone?

If that doesn't work, make a copy of the file and rename it with a .txt file extension. Do your editing and after editing save it as a .ini file. Make sure that you have a backup copy of your ini file before doing anything !!!

Thanks Guys!

I was trying to find the file in ToB. When I looked for it in SoA it was there! Thanks for the advice - it may come in useful in the future. Incidentally, is there something like Gatekeeper or Dalekeeper that will work with SoA? Or does Gatekeeper do the job?
