Virgil coming back (SPOILERS)

I know this question has probably been asked a thousand times but I can't find it in any of the posts. I know Virgil will be found in the basement of the the thieves guild in Caladon along with Master Joaquim, but at what point in the game? I am ready now to go to Thantos isle and talk to Nasrudin. Is it after this point? Thanks.Also has anyone else had the problem of the games freezing when you save?

You will find him now for sure. But I went in the basement as soon as I got in Caladon again and he was there, before I even spoke to anybody in church.

IIRC you can find him immediately after he leaves, if you go to Caladon, in the thieves' guild basement, you don't have to wait to complete other quests or anything.

Virgil leaves the party as you exit Tsen-Ang.
