;)

I did well with a collection of Webs and Entangles holding those baddies while Spike Growth, Spike Stone, and Cloudburst nicked away at them with lots of missiles being launched into them.

Yes, Burial Isle is hell. Don't even bother shooting Drowned Dead, they've got about 95% resistance so it's a waste of time and ammo. Summon up some monsters as decoys, and send in a tank with the Three White Doves (undead-disrupting mace you can buy in Lonelywood).

The underground is a higher plane of toughness. One of the most frustrating areas of all. There's very little room for mistakes. Holler if you need tips. :)

I need some help with the wailing virgins.

I thought the bard song that protects against sound attacks would help, but I don't see much of a difference.

IIRC, my paladin is level 22 or 23, and I can't turn these guys!

Not sure what protects against them. I seemed to have a hard time. But this is what I did.

I always had a circle of protection against evil up. I still got stuck sometimes. Make sure you have some dispels handy, just in case. Exaltation may have worked, too, but I can't remember for sure. Chaotic commands may help to protect.

My strategy was to keep my distance. Killing them with summons, spelltraps and ranged attacks / spells seemed to be only safe approach. If you can, web them, that stops their vocal attacks.

Hope this helps!

You could dimension door to Hjolder and talk to him. Afterwards Lonelywood updates and you're able to solve the mystery about the deaths there. More than 2 million XP richer the battles might be a bit easier.

You can also use invisibility and avoid fighting the undead if you're desperate, but you are able to do without.
Make sure your saving throws are perfect so you only get hopeless at a critical failure, pale justice and seven eyes should even give immunity.

As shown below I had some trouble with them. I can say for sure the cleric spell freedom of action works, but only if you cast it prior to getting hit with emotion hopelessness. :)
