I really cannot defeat that bastard! I tried all the methods (btw, that one from the walkthrough didn't work), I kept him kicking in all the ways possible (front- back, fists-legs) etc. I kicked him out from the ring maybe 20 times also I pushed him into the spectators several times during a fight and no results. This part of game (as well as the archery competition-see another thread) really SUCKS.
Anyone could give a helping hand?

The Chief will eventually be defeated. All you have to do is keep on punching him. If you do go out of the ring, just run back into the ring and wait for him to walk back. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, you just have to be patient and agile. The chief only has to hit you four times and the fight is over. On the other hand, I think I had to hit him more than twenty times even with a maxed out character.
But hey, this makes up for how easy it is to beat everyone else in the game, eh?
