Talentless Bard?

Post by Dire Wolf9 »

Ok, I heard this quest mentioned a couple of times, but where is it? I have never heard nor seen any such thing. Is it true? Or is it some type of a hack?

I think it'a fake, but if anyone out there has done it, or has seen it, tell us, why don't you?

Talentless Bard

Dudes. A Bard just says that you need a better bard because he dosn't know what you have done.
"He Whispers" Perhaps because you arn't renowned enough.

Well, my renown is pretty much maxed out. So he better just get over it then. The renown meter thing can't go past 5.

The Oracle at Snowspire mentions a horrible bard starting the myth of the Singing Sword, but as far as I know you never meet the bard.

for some reason: i believe the singing sword subject increaced when tlc came out b/c i don't remember alot of topics about it when fable was out. the oracle even says "its just a myth" and a myth is untrue, therefore the singing sword is not real. if you see any pictures they are probably fakes.

He's usually wrong. For example, i almost always do manage to guide all 3 traders intact to Barrow Fields, altogether he always sings about one turned into a Balverine...

You too? The only time the trader turned into a balverine for me was the very first time I played the game.

Jack must be a super bard, because he'll report that the arena seal has been monitoring my every movement even if I hang it as a trophy in a marital home immediately after the arena (before visiting Theresa, etc.). lol

Well, the Talentless bard has nothing to do with the bard that the Oracle mentions, even though the bard who the Oracle mentions is quite talentless.
The Talentless Bard was suppose to be a quest - it's in the game files and classified as a quest, but it was probably never finished-off and therefore wasn't put into the final product, Fable/Fable: TLC.
The story the Oracle talks about is about The Singing Sword who's awesome power was matched by it's extreme-high pitch. Some scholars believed that that the story of the singing sword has its roots in a bard called Temmins, who's terrible voice was enough to kill a man - which in a way makes this guy a talentless bard. This is a myth and before anybody says anything, neither one exists, as confirmed by the Oracle.
So, you see, the Talentless Bard was a quest that wasn't put in the game. It has no relation to The Singing sword or Temmins the Bard whose terrible voice could kill many other than that they are both terrible singers. :)
I'll fight to the end, I will not bend
Through pain and torture, I shall not falter
With Dragon n' Sword, I'll burn every horde
Evil will fail and Justice prevail...

the talentless bard was a quest wich they didnt put in the game because of release date time emergency and i heard there was a usb stick wich contained the quest but has been stolen.there are some hints:

a book about a bard that kills somebody with his terrible voice
bards singing rarely: Alas Alack! This man of song, Is rendered dumb, his task to hard!
My muse in Legend doth belong; You need to find a better Bard
and ofcourse the tale about the bard from the Oracle of Snowspire Village.

and it also had to do something with:The nymph Crouches as a quarter past three.

If they did this 1 into the game it was a bronze quest wich you got from a bard who looks like a normal villager and singing only that rhyme. if you completed the quest you got the Singing sword, however it is a very hard quest with like 40 riddles to solve. i knew this because you can only get the quest if you mod your game and i did.its nice if you have nothing to do after you beat the game.(the nymp crouc..etc. was one of the riddles you had to solve) you dont have to look for anythinglike this cos the quest isnt in the game and the hints from the riddle also arent in it except the things i said before.
