has anyone else had the bug where the king of shadow comes back as a giant and he's a friendly npc and you cant attack him.???

If an important enemy is strangely neutral to you, that almost always means a cut scene didn't trigger properly. The easiest way to fix it is to load your game and play through the sequence again, and hope it turns out better the second time.

i noticed your quote is from sir edmund, im from nz where he was born. it was such a big deal when he died. sad really.

This one is an NPC you meet if you follow Moire's path rather than the City Watch's.
