Game Problems

I used to be able to play BG II without any problems at the highest settings, but after restoring my computer from a GHOST backup due to a virus, I've been experiencing slowdowns.

I installed the following in this order:
SOA
TOB
TOB official patch
G3 BG2 Fixpack
Ascension
Item Upgrade
Banter Packs
Turnabout
BG2 Tweakpack
G3 Anniversary Mod
Unfinished Business
Quest Pack 2.3
Dungeon-Be-Gone

When I try to play a game like this, the game slows down quite often, and it stops entirely for 5+ seconds if I try to equip anything, or even try to fight a mephit.

Does anyone have any idea what is causing these slowdowns?

Any help would be appreciated.

Me too!!! I experience the same delay, but not as often, only once in 1/2 hour or so. I only installed SoA with the offical patch and nothing else. If you found out what causes it, I would be very interested!

Just a thought, what operating system do you use? It is possible that this is a windows vista problem.

I am running XP Pro SP2
