*SPOILERS*

1. I'm fairly confident you can no longer get this formula in act 5. There's 3 sources I can gather. Unconfirmed.
-A waitress at the Inn in the Merchant District of Vizima.
-The cannibal gramps in the swamp.
-One of the woodcutters in the swamp if you buy his stuff.

2. It looks like you ran into the same bug I did on my first playthrough. At least I think it is a bug. Those stupid badges keep dropping but there's no way or place to sell them. They can be safely destroyed.

Hmm, I suppose I was very unclear in my first post. My apologies.

The Slamandra badges bug might have something to do with clearing Leuvarden from the investigation before giving him some badges personally.

The waitress conversation is a rare one, I think you'll get it if you just keep talking to her, then leaving, then trying, etc. If you screw up you won't see it again.

Cancel gramps from the list. I must've been wrong. I can confirm the waitress and the woodcutter.

I got my recipe from a random woodcutter selling his things and said it was a great "cure for a hangover." :)

Wive's Tears
--------------
1x high quality alcohol
1x rebis
1x Aether
1x Quebrith

Hope this helps!
