Help! (Tremere and Dominate)
Help! (Tremere and Dominate)
After hearing lots of good things about this clan I decided to give it a go, but for some reason I don't get the red Dominate options during conversations. Is this a Ventrue-only thing or is it a bug? I'm using Patch 5.0, and help would be greatly appreciated.
Dominate during dialogues is a Ventrue only feature.Natroga wrote:After hearing lots of good things about this clan I decided to give it a go, but for some reason I don't get the red Dominate options during conversations. Hell, you should! Tremere is my all time favorite clan and spending XP in Persuasion will be well worth with various characters who will give you money or special items (like keys) later in the game. Not to mention you'll be able to use Blood Shield, a favorite discipline when you want to go medieval in combat zones!
And so I left...

Hmm, I so far I think I like it better when you only have Persuasion or Seduction, it fits better with the whole "Con Man" thing I'm trying to do with this one.
I used Blood Boil on Stan Gimble just to see what happens, and ... er, I was a little surprised. I did not expect that big a boom. I think I like it.

Ha. My problem with Blood Shield is that I have the worse time remembering to turn it off. I've accumulated more masquerade violations that way.... But, yes, Tremere is a very fun clan to play.][_aVey wrote:Hell, you should! Really? I never forget when I'm using Blood Shield because most of the time, when you cast it, you're in a combat zone in third person view, so you can clearly see yourself covered in blood all the time. If you switch to first person view, the edges of the screen are all covered in red and your vision is a bit limited, this little annoyance always reminds me to turn it off. Just remember you can map an "End All Disciplines" command to a key.Faust wrote:Ha. My problem with Blood Shield is that I have the worse time remembering to turn it off.
