Thief-Sorcerer

Post by Houston810 »

Are there any mods that will let me dual class or multi class with a sorcerer. I would love to play like a thief-sorcerer just to have access to everything. And thats what I role play in all RPGs

I'm not aware of any. The thief/wizard combination not sufficient for you?

As far as I know, there isn't any mod that will let you play a multi-class or dual-class Sorcerer. The classes are hard-coded into the game engine, and it simply isn't possible.

However, we have had this discussion before, and there is a way that you can choose any spell from your character's spellbook. Thanks to a hack that was discovered by a member named UserUnfriendly, I was able to create a spell that will let your party rest, thus refreshing your character's memorized spells. As long as you memorize the spell before resting, you can cast it at any time as many times a day as you like. Does it make your character a true "Sorcerer"? Nope. But it gives your character a Sorcerer-like ability.

To use the REST spell, do the following. Look for the attachment named REST2.ZIP in our previous message thread. Download it. Unzip it. Put it in your /OVERRIDE directory. Then open your game with Shadowkeeper and give it to your character(s). There are two versions--one is an innate ability, and the other one can be placed in your spell tray. Either way, the spell makes your entire party rest. When you want to cast a spell that your character doesn't have memorized, open his or her spellbook and select the spell(s) you want, and then cast the REST spell.

It's so cheesy, I hardly ever use it anymore. Can you handle the temptation? :) I should probably make a toned-down version that only refreshes your character's memorized spells instead of making your entire party rest, but I never bothered to create one. Perhaps you or someone who knows how to use a spell editor can create one.
