I'd love to actually finish the game and not just give up. I've tried hit and run but have to get so close that I'm underneath him and can't get away before he hits me! HELP!!!!

Having gotten all the way to the end and being able to kill anything with my Lvl 61 hero who has a 7800 slashing point sword with over 7800 spirit I can barely make a dent in him. When he kills me he has regenerated by the time I get back to him. He's immune to magic and 50 hits with a bow & arrow do nothing!

You can drop a teleporter next to the fight, so you can jump back to it quickly. You can cast chains on the demon, so you always get the first hit.
I didn't think this battle was too bad, but at least one major patch came out after I played, and so maybe it changed.
