Problem whit Malkavian

Hey I just started the game playing a female Malkavian and when I enter the Asylum the first time and Jeanet aportches you I get two reply choice but whit both the game crashes... anyone els have had this problem or perhaps a solution?

Is your game patched? Sometimes that helps the unexpected crashes.

The very old first question would be if you have listened to Bloodlines soundfiles with the MS media player?

No I havent listend to any of the sound files and I have the official 1.2 and the unoficial 5.0 patch.

How does listening to the files with media player ruin anything? I was doing that for quite awhile but it never did anything to ruin my game...

The default Microsoft Media Player append some playlist or DRM stuff to all files it plays which causes Bloodlines to crash when trying to play them. Mediaplayer Classic is ok.

That's something to know. Hur-rah. I'm not letting the new version run anything from now on, unless I really have to. Had a preference for the cleaner, smaller older version anyway.
