Wyverns

Post by bushwhacker2k »

Oh. My. God. Wyverns destroy me every time I fight them, I can fight a wyvern one-on-one at full health and win, but this little nest with about 8 of them isn't very easy to deal with...

I'm doing the moronic quest where I bring elves and dwarves to get their asses kicked by humans in a golem field and I pass through this wyvern nest and all of them die, very quickly I might add. I follow them after about the third wyvern is down. Are wyverns supposed to be godlike monsters? I use swallow and blizzard and it doesn't work too well.

Actually I just got an idea to use a rune I got earlier... I doubt that I'll survive though...

Didn't work, I used the uber rune and I died before I killed the second wyvern

Wyverns are tough in chapter 2. You have to lure them to you one or two at a time. Igni is useful against them (and everything else).

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

btw just for the sake of saying: I finally managed to beat the wyverns... I feel stupid that I'd forgotten how well luring works in video games :P
