Do the Echinops in The Cave regenerate themselves?????? I keep killing 2 or 3 then going out to rest by the fire for an hour, and when I re-enter it seems there's just as many as before???? Anyone know the answer....
I think you answered your own question. There should only be 4-5 echinopsae in the cave, so if you've killed way more than that, then they re-spawn each time you go in.
Going by your other thread, it sounds like you need to learn how to brew potions. You won't get very far without potions. In this case, a Swallow potion will allow you to regenerate your health without leaving the cave to use a campfire.

yeah, Potions are an AMAZING asset to witchers. If you're on easy mode you may be able to progress without potions but on medium and hard it won't work well. I'd recommend getting the ability to harvest plants and you can get loads of herbs and buy some crappy liquor from the inn's bar wench to make most potions. Swallow potions are probably the most important potion in the game, once I'd started making potions every time I restock I get 10 swallow potions.
