Depends on what you mean by most kinds of monsters. Can they be same sprites (I.E. Diablo 2 Zombies, Hungers, Ghouls, etc) or do they need to be completely uniquely designed?
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

If we count every single version of each monster, then most different kinds of monsters I know is in "Demise: Rise of Ku'tan", 536 monsters. Of course if we count only each unique type of monster, then we are somewhere between 100-130 different unique monsters in that game. Pretty much nevertheless.

Well, considering you've already been to gamespot, why not learn about the game there? Where they have previews and information about the game.

Game with the most monsters
I don't know a lot about computer games, but as far as table-top role-playing goes, I think Shadowrun has the just about most monster types because your NPCs can be any player archetype out of about a hundred and the monsters lists name about a hundred different 'awakened' beasties too. Thus, you can encounter humanoid archetypes like "The former company man," "gang member," "Elven Street Samurai," or "Combat Mage" and then you can also encounter monsters like the Bandersnatch or the Bogie. Battle tech is a game that focuses on giant robot battles rather than monsters, really, but Battletech has hundreds of unit types with a high number of variations. Some of the Clan mecha can appear in five variants, too, so usually every Battlemech you encounter on the battlefield is unique enough to make it a new threat. Once I made a personal list of monster names and monster types for the purpose of making a game, but since I came up with over five hundred monster types, I didn't go ahead and make a game out of it. I think five hundred is about as exhaustive a monster list as anybody could want or need. I think the Internet has monster lists for D&D and certain other games. If you are into Champions gaming, then every character or villian or NPC has the same basic character sheet details, so the number of "monsters" depends on how many characters your GM has for the campaign...the supplement books list hundreds of super villians. I hope this helps answer your question.

The game has changed owner couple of times. First, IIRC it was owned by Artifact Entertainment, then Pharaoh Products and now it's currently owned by David Allen.
It's just dungeon hack 'n slash game, but rather entertaining.

Right, but my point is you've already been to gamespot to see it. Gamespot almost always features previews and reviews of the various games out there, why not just go their instead of asking about it here simply because we don't have a walkthrough on it.
