cure for vampirism.
cure for vampirism.
I have brought Melisande everything she wanted . she took everything but the bloodgrass. now she doesnt give the option to take anything from me. I need the cure to continue mages quest.
If you just want to cure the disease, and you're not worrying about following the cure quest and delivering it to count whoever for his wife, try Mandrake root. I caught it and thought I was going to have to go through that whole deal but on a whim I tried the root and it fixed me up.
I noticed the disease notation on my effects page had a "(2)" after it and I ended up needing two roots to cure it. After the first my fatigue was back but I was still a carrier. The second permanently erased all signs. This is making me think any other ingredient which cures disease or a plain old cure disease spell might work. Maybe I hadn't "turned" yet. I don't know.
I think catching Vampirism may only be more involved than other diseases if you want it to be. I have stocked all the ingredients for the cure quest except the ashes and will experience being a blood sucker at my convenince. Not super filled in about it but that's my experience for what it's worth. I tried inquiring about its' pros and cons but someone shut down my thread saying it was redundent. I found a lot out there but nothing specific to what I was asking.
Good luck.
