Multiplayer Co-op Not MMORPG

Post by porky133 »

My friend and I are about to finish Dungeon Lords and have enjoyed it very much. We are looking for another co-op game to play. Doesn't have to be a RPG like DL, but that would be nice.

I know there are several threads like this but they do't seem interested in team play.

We have already played out on Empire Earth, Warhammer 40k, Age of Empires (AoK) and WarCraft 3.

It depends on the fact if you play it over a LAN or over an internet server.

Cause if you play a LAN you could try to play games like Titan QUest or Dungeon Siege if you like hack & slash games. Also a pretty fun game is Jedi Acadamy but that is a star wars game don't now if you like that.

If you play over an internet server I don't really have a suggestion for a RPG game. I do know that a lot of internet game's are shooters and if you like those i could suggest to play some games of the Battlefield saga (I really like those espacially 2142) also a good game(in my oppinion) is Crysis but that is a game wich requires a very good pc.

So I hope i could be of any help and good luck playing :)
How should a world without games look like?
I think it would really be lame.

More info

We do play over a lan. I tried Dungeon Siege before but the multiplayer component was very different from the storyline. Is DS2 any better?

I'll have to check on titan quest. If it allows co-op play then it may be a winner.

thanks for the tip!

I haven't played Dungeon Siege 1 so for me it is hard to compare the too but in my oppinion is Dungeon Siege 2 a pretty nice game. And Titan Quest can be played co-op.

I know it's an old game, but my friend and I had a lot of fun with Bladur's Gate 2 on mutli-player some years ago.
