Another silly question.

Post by Thomas77 »

Okay, I know this is a rather silly question being that I have been playing Oblivion for several weeks and am now at level 14  , but...how exactly do "touch" spells work? I guess I'm wondering more about whether or not the spell actually works for both hand to hand and with a weapon.
So I suppose the question would be this...how do you properly use a "touch" spell?
Mitch:You know, um, something strange happened to me this morning... Chris Knight: Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?Mitch: No... Chris Knight:Why am I the only one who has that dream?

Neither, the term touch just means the target has to be withing touching distance to be affected by the spell. Us it as you would a 'Target' spell, just make sure the recipient of the spell is real close.

But if you also meant 'can I use a touch spell to enchant a weapon?' yes you can, but it will be 'on strike', as it is for all spells used to enchant weapons - other than staffs, that is, which are always ranged. (Not that you will ever get the chance to enchant a staff yourself....)

it depends relly some of them like the shock touch spell simply shocks them when i hit them with a sword, hand, etc,
but if its one like fire touch spell than all it dose is burn whoever u hit (deals damage over a certin amount of time)
well good luck hope this helped
those who can not remember the past, are doomed to repeat it
