Talked to Valygar, but now I can't find him

So I found Valygar but I didn't want to do the Planar Sphere yet, so I told him I would help him later. The problem is I don't remember where I said I would meet him. He's not in his cabin or house, nor is he in the Copper Coronet. Any ideas as to where I might be able to find him?

Where did you get read of him at? the only two places he can go is where you told him to leave your group at or at the cabin.

did you check upstairs oin his house? i think he goes there if you meet him but don't immediatly do the planar sphere because you've uncovered his secret hideout.

I left him at his cabin, but when I came back I couldn't see him there. I tried checking his house, and upstairs when I arrived I thought I saw him standing there, but then he was gone. Is it possible he made himself invisible?
